Digital India but hungry Indians

In March 2015 Mamta Banerjee announced digitised ration cards in the state of West Bengal, estimated to benefit more than five crore people. But for the people of Karkara village which comes under the Purulia district of West Bengal there is no respite. These people have been issued new ration cards but the ration card supplier is refusing to give them the ration.

Please call Piyali Mondal, BDO of Joypur on 9434753756 and ask her to ensure ration is distributed as per regulations.

Please call Chiranjit Biswas, Food Inspector of Joypur on 8972544567 and demand proper  investigation and action.
